Sega have released a fresh batch of game play screen shots from the upcoming Sonic 4: Episode one title.

The images show Splash Hill Zone, this time with Sonic racing through it at sunset. It is unclear if this is at a later stage of the game or if the lighting changes as the level progresses.

I have to say the more of this I am seeing the more I like it.

The good people at Sega have taken the time to update their official website for Sonic 4 with some new screen shots as well as some music from the game. The same teaser video is also on the site along with character models for Sonic, Dr. Eggman (Robotnik to us oldschoolers) and a host of Badniks.

The website however is... well... a touch annoying so here are the screenshots in case you are not in the mood for looping music and videos.



The game will be available in summer 2010 on Xbox Live Arcade, PSN, WiiWare and an as yet unannounced platform that Sega is keeping secret.

We've wanted it since the console launched but may the time finally be right for the Xbox 360 to gain support for USB storage devices?

Well if the leaked specs and screenshots uncovered by Joystiq are to be believed then maybe the time has come! On the back of fresh rumours about a slim Xbox 360 being in the works, this rumour begins to gather a little pace.

The report states that USB device support will only extend to devices falling between the ranges of 1GB to 16GB. This of course to prevent the killing off of 1st party Microsoft devices already on the market.

Despite years of rumours that Microsoft would add Blu-Ray support to their Xbox 360 console via either an internal drive or external addon, the Redmond firm have always be quick to shoot down such speculation.

According to Stephen McGill, Microsoft's UK director of Xbox and Entertainment, the future of home entertainment has already started and Blu-Ray is not it.
